The College of Engineering has grown tremendously to provide the rapidly expanding manufacturing industries in Korea with qualified engineers. It now consists of two faculties and ten departments covering almost every field of modern enineering disciplines. In particular, this College has been chosen as a National Strategic Engineering College to be specially funded by the government for five years beginning in 1994, with a total budget of 90 million US dollars, to expand and modernize its educational and research facilities.
